Description
As my poetic ventures change shape with a more sophisticated marketing effort, I remain just a poet, seeking unique ways to describe ordinary things all around me. At times the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and my ability to capture is exhilarating to me.
There are so many interesting things to write about, only requiring time to focus upon. When we slow down long enough to witness, to hear, to smell, in essence to see and feel our world, great things can happen. So it is with this in mind that I have chosen to title my next book Gardens.
Gardens represent beauty in so many forms, transcending color, texture, smell, sound, and visual aesthetics. It is my goal, as in the poems “Green” and “Sculptured World” to accurately describe these garden varieties in a way that my readers can visualize and feel the experiences as I did.
